“We used Ruth Allen Photography for our wedding on 4th July 2015. I had looked through Ruth’s wedding photography images online and thought they looked great.

We were quite specific as to what we wanted from the photos- We wanted a lot of natural photos of my guests and couple shots but not too many posed shots.

We met Ruth a couple of months before the wedding to explain about our wedding, the venue, guests and explained our brief. She was very professional in her approach and nothing was difficult, she also added in her own suggestions which worked really well and she got what we wanted straight away.

On the day Ruth brought Sally her assistant along with her. Both girls were great! Really relaxed, friendly and chatted to all the guests a lot. It was great having them there as they were lots of fun and very approachable but weren’t in your face and demanding of our time. They got the job done very efficiently with out being shouty and bossy which is what I have seen in previous weddings.

We got the photos back really quickly and were absolutely delighted with them! They are amazing and they completely reflected the mood and atmosphere of the day.

We also decided to get a video done. Sally shot this on the day as well as taking still photographs. We completely love the video! I cry and laugh every time I watch it. It is finished so perfectly and professionally and we are both so glad we decided to go for it!

When we have shown the photos and video to friends who weren’t able to make the wedding they have all said they feel like they are there and we feel the same every time we watch it.
